Basil – bronchitis, fatigue, colds, loss of concentration, aches and pains.
Birch – gout, rheumatism, eczema, ulcers.
Lavender – an all-around strengthening oil that calms, restores, strengthens, excellent for de-stressing.
Citrus – all the citrus oils are photo-toxic, meaning they cannot be put directly on your skin or exposed to sunlight. Lemon and lime are quite strong on the skin, so be careful where you use them. All are good for colds and flues and infection.
Grapefruit – tonic, obesity, kidney and liver problems, migraine, depression, and aid in drug withdrawal.
Lemon – is very clearing, stimulates the brain, aids concentration, tonic to the circulatory system, aids in depression.
Lime – tonic to immune system, depression, anxiety, sinus and colds, rheumatism.
Orange – depression, anxiety, nervous conditions, constipation, tonic, sedative and antiseptic.
Pine – Bladder and kidney problems, chest infections, circulation, muscle aches and pains.
Rosemary – an excellent oil for clearing and sharpening the mind (oxygenates cells in the brain), it is calming, strengthening, reduces pains in muscles and bones, good for scalp and hair, nerve stimulant, heart tonic and liver, decongestant.
Tea Tree – Fungal infections, viral and bacterial infections, colds, cold sores, warts, inflammations, shock.
Ylang Ylang – anxiety, palpitations, high blood pressure, depression, as a sedative and general tonic.
